RV Community Policy

My community policy here at Rookie Vagabonders is inspired by the wise words of my parents Steve and Kath, a dynamic duo whose values and life lessons apply even on the internet:

Steve & Kath: The Original Vagabonders

“If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all”: Be nice; don’t be mean, we all love each other here. However, DO comment on what I and your fellow VBs have to say because it will make for better conversation.

“I love you just the way you are”: Be yourself, I think you’re great. There’s no need to make up an identity or misrepresent either yourself or an organization because we vagabonders don’t judge.

“Spam is a suspicious man-made creation that you should try to avoid”: Whether it’s the canned meat or the internet Bubonic Plague as I like to call it, vagabonders don’t like either, so please refrain from giving us a helping.

“If it’s a telemarketer, just hang up”: We’re all for learning about new travel deals etc. but please no blatant selling of products or services, especially ones that have nothing to do with travel.

“You know you can tell me anything”: Questions, comments and concerns are absolutely welcome at all times. Feedback is key here at Rookie Vagabonders, so don’t hesitate to be vocal. And please let me know when something goes wrong or is bugging you because I will do my best to fix it immediately.

“Go to your room”: I’m sure you’ve all heard this phrase before, but just know that there will be consequences for disrespectful behavior. Specifically, I reserve the right to remove any comment that could be considered offensive to othersas well as links that are irrelevant or off-topic. I will do my best to monitor everything but if you find anything to be particularly uncool, let me know.
